From Losing Freedom ... to Winning!

The freedom-loving Libertarian Party has been active 47 years, yet manages to gather only a minuscule percentage of the vote. Many would say this is pathetic.

The Republican Freedom Caucus in the House of Representatives heroically saves America from a disastrous re-application of the ObamaCare premise that dictatorship of people's health insurance is government's business ... a rescue effort for which they should be presenting themselves as national champions. Instead they allow themselves to be portrayed as villains. Maybe not pathetic, but a mixed bag.

It's not that freedom is no longer considered a value among Americans. It's that modern freedom lovers haven't yet learned how to win fully, completely, without limitation. Liberty lovers achieve only partial victories because we do not have a winning mindset.

To achieve complete and lasting victory liberty lovers need to transform their minds and think like winners.

To do this we must first train ourselves to thoroughly understand that thoughts held in mind produce after their kind. This is not some pie-in-the-sky philosophy. It's reality. Our mind radiates energy of success or failure, and there is an extremely powerful level of our subconscious mind which works to support what our conscious mind believes, whether we believe ourselves 100% winners or half capable of losing.

If Libertarians, for example, consider themselves a minor party, that's all they will ever be. Republicans started a new party in 1854, considered themselves winners, and won seats in the House of Representatives that very year. Six years later (not 47 or 48 years later), Republicans riding the wave of their winning mindset won the presidency.

Libertarians of course have their excuses ready. "But nowadays there are ballot restrictions and mega-donors who block our success."

If we blame others for our lack of success, then lack of success is in our mind, and lack of success is what we'll create. Every football team faces other teams doing everything possible to block their success, but every coach will tell you the ball always finds a way to bounce in favor of those who thoroughly and deeply believe they cannot lose.

Other freedom lovers try other excuses. "But even if we are wise enough to get elected as Republicans, the odds are against us."

Nonsense. A winning mindset creates odds in one's favor. Just look with honesty at Donald Trump's campaign to win the Republican nomination. During that campaign he projected himself as a winning winner who doesn't lose, and voters who aren't themselves addicted to a losing attitude found his winning attitude very attractive.

In addition to developing a winning attitude we must train our minds to set aside ego-vested interests and listen inside to deeper wisdom. Ego is not who we really are, but false self-identification. A politician or activist who is pursuing ego-vested interests is perceived as fake, not real. Such a person is felt as lacking integrity. It is impossible to sense Nancy Pelosi or Hillary Clinton as real. The reason the two have been able to win elections is another story, but it has not been because of any projected integrity.

Rand Paul projects integrity. He actually tries to listen inside and follow a deeper wisdom than the usual "conventional wisdom."  Sometimes he takes an unpopular stand joined by no one else. Other times he is willing to compromise because his inner wisdom guides compromise. Either way, he is acting from a deeper place inside, not from ego. Therefore he is seen as real, not fake. Rand Paul's championing of liberty will have far deeper and longer lasting effects than Nancy Pelosi's championing of liberal-progressive dictatorship.

Notice that non-compromising stances are sometimes guided by inner wisdom (Rand Paul), and are other times nothing more than ego satisfaction (Nancy Pelosi, as well as too many liberty lovers). We must not fall into the trap of satisfying our ego with self-righteous non-compromising stances which sabotage ourselves in the long run. We must learn to quiet our ego's intellectual self-righteousness and listen deep inside before taking our stances and before deciding which issues to focus our energies on. It's called "choosing one's battles wisely."

In the words of one of the world's great teachers, "All experiences are preceded by mind, having mind as their master, created by mind." It's about transformation in our mind. If we train our mind to banish all excuses and see ourselves only winning ... and if we train our mind to listen deep inside to the guidance of inner wisdom ... liberty is assured of victory.

fas-cism
noun
a socialist governmental system led by a dominant elite which seeks to control industry and commerce, and uses legislation and governmental decree to force Utopian programs on people.

free-dom
noun
one's natural state of being; a governmental system reflecting one's natural state, including voluntary funding and voluntary willingness to join and cooperate with minimal intrinsic rules, but with no programs of "good intention" forced on people "for their own good."

If you are newly waking up to your innate libertarian core and want to investigate deeper the underlying nonsense of the liberal-progressive religion of government worship, give yourself the pleasure of reading Ayn Rand's epic and masterful novel, Atlas Shrugged.

"God's laws will keep your minds at peace, because peace IS His Will, and His laws are established to uphold it. His are the laws of freedom, but yours are the laws of bondage. Since freedom and bondage are irreconcilable, their laws CANNOT BE UNDERSTOOD TOGETHER. The laws of God work only for your good, and there ARE no other laws beside His. Everything else is merely lawLESS, and therefore chaotic." -Jesus Christ in A Course in Miracles

Interesting factoid: for the last election year studied (1998) some of the highest percentage of votes for Libertarian Party candidates were for candidates who had been studying free of charge the lessons of: Course in Political Miracles

“I did not understand what made me free, nor what my freedom is, nor where to look to find it. Father, I have searched in vain until I heard Your Voice directing me. Now I would guide myself no more. For I have neither made nor understood the way to find my freedom. But I trust in You. You Who endowed me with my freedom as Your holy Son will not be lost to me. Your Voice directs me." Ron Paul is Wrong; Mitt Romney is Right!

"Ron Paul does not believe we went into Iraq because of 9/11. But Mitt Romney obviously believes we did. So who’s right?" ~Gary Benoit The strained arguments of some libertarians that Dwight Eisenhower is somehow responsible for the 9/11 attack in New York is equivalent to arguing that President James Buchanan was responsible for the Mountain Meadows Massacre of the Baker-Fancher emigrant party on 9/11 in Utah. It is truth in the sense we are all responsible for everything in our world. This is a very valuable truth, wouldn't you say? The twisted leftist argument is that Islamic Jihadists would not have declared war on Western societies if it hadn't been for Western government policies reaching back through the years. But anyone who studies the Koran knows this argument is bullshit. The Koran demands that war be waged on "infidels" until everyone on earth is either converted to Islam, enslaved by Islamists, or killed. Mitt Romney is right. The United States

Is Sarah Palin's Joy Ayn Rand's Ideal?

Lesson 50: "I join Ayn Rand, educating spiritually." Government worshippers are in control of most universities, virtually every public school system, and almost every major media market. The general public has been thoroughly brainwashed to believe that if there is a problem, or the illusion of a problem, government solutions are the answer ... a new government program, a new government bureaucracy, more power to government. Because almost all avenues of education and information have been under the control of government worshippers, the vast majority of people are stuck in thinking habits which will never for long periods of time serve liberty. Because people's underlying thinking habits will rise to the surface again and again, any libertarian political victory can only be short-lived ... unless people's underlying way of thinking is changed. As much as I might hate to admit it, thorough re-education of the public cannot not be a number one priority for libertaria

Libertarian Mantra Exposes Obama Cruelty

President Obama has no choice but to offer you up as a sacrifice to his god.  His worship of the illusion that there can be a "common good" for society which transcends the good of individuals in the society demands your sacrifice. Yet libertarians fiddle. Are you amazed that libertarians blab about marijuana while the economy of the entire world is crashing?  Are you astounded that libertarians nit-pick about bedroom issues while the entire populace is being reduced to slavery?   Many libertarians spend their time forever addressing puny little issues which (a) make them look to the public like petty teenagers, and (b) serve only to side-track the public’s thought from an infinitely more important underlying truth. Okay, let's suppose you want to do some real good for the libertarian cause.  How about addressing  the one and only truly meaningful issue?  Maybe a little story would illustrate what libertarians should be talking about. One upon a time there was a
