Libertarian Party: Party of Deceit?

The Constitution Party is NOT interested in establishing "Christian nation," as LP claims. Supposedly it all started because the LP received emails asking the difference between their party and the Constitution Party. Maybe so. Or maybe the LP is, as usual, giving in to their addiction. For indeed, it is a debilitating addiction to always need to prove you are so much different and so much better than everyone else. Andrew Davis, the LP's illusion spinner, writes: Though the Constitution Party has a very real and intense dedication to Constitutional provisions--made clear by the fact that they support many of their platform planks with citations from both the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence--their raison d'etre is to essentially establish a "Christian" nation, and somehow maintain religious tolerance (though this latter portion is never explained). Of Course Andrew Davis never explains what other-worldly logic has him making the quantum ju

Ron Paul: Government Caused Mortgage Crisis; Cannot Solve It

Ron Paul Points Out Stupidity of Bailouts and Government Manipulation of Economy. "Many Americans today are asking themselves how the economy got to be in such a bad spot. For years they thought the economy was booming, growth was up, job numbers and productivity were increasing. Yet now we find ourselves in what is shaping up to be one of the most severe economic downturns since the Great Depression. Unfortunately, the government's preferred solution to the crisis is the very thing that got us into this mess in the first place: government intervention." Click to read entire article: Bailouts will lead to rough economic ride Libertarians have always understood what Republicans and Democrats seem unable to see: to work properly, a country's economy must be free from government interference. Yes, there should be government safeguards against the use of force or fraud by business people and corporations. But presidents and senators and congress people and bureaucrats

Is Sarah Palin's Joy Ayn Rand's Ideal?

Lesson 50: "I join Ayn Rand, educating spiritually." Government worshippers are in control of most universities, virtually every public school system, and almost every major media market. The general public has been thoroughly brainwashed to believe that if there is a problem, or the illusion of a problem, government solutions are the answer ... a new government program, a new government bureaucracy, more power to government. Because almost all avenues of education and information have been under the control of government worshippers, the vast majority of people are stuck in thinking habits which will never for long periods of time serve liberty. Because people's underlying thinking habits will rise to the surface again and again, any libertarian political victory can only be short-lived ... unless people's underlying way of thinking is changed. As much as I might hate to admit it, thorough re-education of the public cannot not be a number one priority for libertaria

Democrat Thugs Would Shout Her Down, But Sarah Palin Brings Freedom

Sarah Palin is everything a free-thinker (libertarian) just has to love. Sarah Palin pilots a plane, rides a motorcycle, fires an AK-47, wouldn't mind helping Alaska secede from the union, smoked marijuana when young, does not condemn teen pregnancy ... and knows how to run an election and run a government. (See the New Republic's Article: The Case Against the Case Against Palin ) Some libertarians are saying, "Let's elect her and hope John McCain decides he is too tired for the Presidency after all." Barack Obama's people are teetering on the verge of insanity over Sarah's candidacy. Obama again allowed his monumental arrogance to surface by announcing his own experience far out shadows the experience of a mayor of a town of 9,000 population ... pretending the public is too dumb to know Sarah is governor of a state bordering on foreign countries. Let Sarah debate Obama! "But Obama knows how to communicate!" Yes, to people whose lifeblood is hold

Palin and Mahbubani - Libertarians Find Their Teachers

In "The New Asian Hemisphere: The Irresistible shift of Global Power to the East" Kishore Mahbubani extols the great advantages of free-market capitalism. While "marijuana libertarians" pout like spoiled brats because mothers of 5 children, like Sarah Palin, are not too keen on freedom of marijuana, an influential diplomat from Singapore, now a dean and professor in the National University of Singapore, sees a much broader picture and shows what it takes to institute a giant leap forward in economic well-being for the entire world's population by unleashing free market capitalism. Can you imagine Bill Clinton saying, "It's the marijuana, stupid?" As dumb as Bill Clinton is, he knew that his policies required his political success, and his political success required his focus solely on economics (along with pretending he never inhaled). Success in politics requires selling one's economic program. So now libertarians have yet another chance to
