Libertarian-Republican Rapport




What's wrong with the picture painted by the above video?

Usually when there is a common enemy, people have enough common sense to lay aside their differences and ban together to defeat the common enemy, right?

Normally when the common enemy is extremely powerful and there are potential dire consequences if the enemy were to gain complete control, people are wise enough hold their peace regarding their pet issues while working with allies on issues that bottom line are infinitely more important, wouldn't you say?

The question is: are libertarians capable of the kind of common sense and wisdom most people innately turn to?

If fascist socialist Democratic Party thugs are going to be stopped from destroying the spirit of America (and the world), libertarians are going to have to learn to work with Republicans who agree with some of their main premises while not yet "on board" in every respect, true or false?

Rather than go into Republican meetings and blasting off on pet libertarian themes, libertarians are going to have to focus on areas of agreement and keep quiet for a while (until the common enemy is defeated) when it comes to areas of disagreement, true or false?

Over time fascist socialists have taken over the Democratic Party. They didn't do so by going into Democratic Party meetings years ago and spouting the hardest to accept fascist socialist ideas.

Quite the opposite. They joined the Democratic Party and worked for Democratic Party candidates of all stripes ... thus earning their "Democrat" credentials and the respect of other Democrats. They gave the appearance of being Democrats, not fascist socialists. They paid their dues working within their Party until they could finally rise to the top and take control.

There is no reason why libertarians cannot take over the Republican Party, but they are going to have to pay their dues by getting along with other Republicans and working their way to the top, wouldn't you say?

In the real world you don't win success by insisting only you are right all the time. In the real world you don't gain supporters by judging everyone who disagrees with you as unworthy of your comradeship. The question is: are you a libertarian who is grown up enough to play in the real world?

Jesus Christ & Ayn Rand: Brother & Sister

It is far too easy (intellectually lazy) to conclude that Jesus Christ and Ayn Rand are miles apart in what they teach. Nothing is further from the truth. It is only necessary to juxtapose the words of Ayn Rand with the words of Jesus to see they teach exactly the same.
